This week's t-shirt Dada most covets

Denver police often issue T-shirts to commemorate big events. This one celebrating the 2008 Democratic National Convention this past summer in the Mile High City is something I find extremely desirous as testament to America in the 21st Century.

What a great idea as a morale builder for the forces.

It's like a "calling all sadists" recruitment tool ... or a "calling all masochists" to the actual event.

Ouch! But the DNC street activities were a picnic in the park compared to the jack booted thug-fest that happened at the RNC.
Teargas, beatings, pepper spray, and arrests of card carrying members of the press- even pre protest raids.
More like Homeland Insanity rather than Homeland Security.
That being said, the Prez did not speak @ the RNC. Did all those throngs of angry protesters keep him away?
Or is he such a liability, it would have been bad to have him show his mug at his own party's convention

Fran: YES! I can't wait to see the Minneapolis PD's commemorative T-shirt of the RNC. It'll make Denver PD's look like child's play.

And I agree, what a great morale builder for the force and recruitment poster for little junior enforcers!
