So, does that Teddy Bear outgas depleted uranium? Is its cute little cut-off T-shirt flammable? Does its tummy harbor various explosives? It might as well, considering the message it's sending to innocent children. We are looking at a whole new weapon here. Plus, it's probably mfr'd in a polluted chinese sweat shop.
OMG! Those posters you linked! I hate to say it, but they remind me of the wonderful sci-fi artwork on old collector mags & paperbacks. Only one thing missing -- the large-busted, wasp-waisted, leggy Barbarella's or Lara Croft's to inspire mercenary testostomen's lust. oops, sorry for the image ... unless you fondly remember Barbarella ... then, you're welcome!
Off topic: did you catch "1968" with Tom Brokaw on The History Channel Sunday night? We DVR'd & just watched it. Don't worry if you missed it, since History always repeats itself. The next showing is Wednesday eve. It's excellent & well worth seeing. Pat Buchanan describes Nixon as ecstatic over the Chicago '68 riots. Can't you just visualize that?
d.k. - I did catch the 1968 show. Thanks. Funny, it didn't look like as much fun as I remembered having.
Weren't those posters wonderfully dark? Not to worry about these bears. Take heart. They, too, are on the endangered species list with the rest of Nature these neocons so disdain.

Mother to kid: You better be good junior, or I'm telling Blackwater.
