It's a girl!

Wow....this isn't as bad as I thought. Truthfully, I imagined feeling nauseas, getting oozy, breaking into a cold sweat before ultimately dropping to the floor unconscious -- all the result of watching a live birthing process .

But to my shock (and great relief) I didn't! I made it through all the excitement without any of those things happening! I'm talking about a new blog that has just been born. Birthed by one of the frequent visitors to the comment section here at Dada's, "Got Democracy" proudly announced the arrival of her new baby yesterday, Ramblings.

Weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs. 22 oz., "Ramblings" is presently only 18 inches long. But I have a sense this baby's gonna grow into something much, much bigger.

Congratulations to the new "Mom"! If you get a chance, drop by the hospital nursery to get a glimpse of the defiant little sucker.

Cute baby! Is she already giving the finger to ShrubCo? Or to you, Dada, for watching her come into the world? LOL!!

Oh, good point eprof....I was pretty sure I knew. Now, thanks to your open mindedness, I'm not so sure.

Thanks, signed "paranoia strikes deep"

I'm excited to see this new hybrid blog, and I'm sure all of the blood, sweat, and tears that went into it are more than worth it. Press on, sir.

By the way, are you a Warren Zevon fan?

Awwwww what a sweet birth announcement. After all the breathing & pushing, hopefully this baby will flourish. I'm pretty sure that baby is flippin off "da man"- you know the collective misguided authority that screws things up for humanity & the planet. With all due respect for Uncle Dada.

oooh, god parents ... isn't there some ritual involved in that? something about promising to pay for college education, or providing bail, or ?

christnina, which "Z" are you into? Lately, for me, it's "Life'll Kill'ya". ~~ D.K.
