Correction: Mark Foley is a democrat!

FOX News image of Rep. Mark Foley, Democrat - Florida

Once in awhile one stumbles across something that's way too rich to leave unattended as house speaker Hastert did with representative Foley's little problem. I'm speaking about the above. It just begs for wider dissemination.

Such is this image I discovered over on Farr Feed which got it from Daily Kos. Remember, at FOX, they're "fair and balanced." I had forgotten that until a recent reminder occurred when Senator Boxer was interviewed by Jane Skinner on FOX News.

Boxer was making the point the U.S. and the Iraqis need to take a new direction in Iraq, to wit:

Boxer: ... "Thing is, we want them to succeed, but they have to want to succeed as much as we want them to."

Skinner: "Well, senator, president Bush would probably say he does have indications that they certainly do wanna succeed. Thanks so much Senator Barbara Boxer...

Boxer: "Well we all want to succeed, it's our policy and I think our policy is not helping matters at all."

Skinner: "Okay, well as you know, the president said this morning the offense is not gonna make us less safe, disagree with, with you. We appreciate your perspective today...

Boxer: "I hear that you agree with the president, I'm not surprised (chuckle) okay?"

Skinner: "We're just trying to bring both sides, Senator Barbara Boxer of California."

Boxer: "Oh, you're fair and balanced, thank you very much."

Skinner: "Thank you very much, indeed, we are...We want to know what you think, because we are fair and balanced."

FOX is apparently adhering to president Bush's strategy, the same tack as professed by his predecessor, Hitler's Nazi Propaganda Minister, J. Goebbels, who advocated repeating the lie until, eventually, they will believe you.

Sadly, our president in his "catapulting the propaganda" statement exchanged Goebbels "lie" with the word "truth," indicating Bush has a much looser grasp on reality than his predecessor, Geobbels. This seems supported by Justin Frank, M.D. of psychiatry, in his book, "Bush on the Couch."
