Medical update: America -- the patient continues to weaken!

Several days ago I wrote a blog entitled America -- a Very Sick Nation!. Today I'd like to call my next witness in the prosecution of that claim.

But first a little background. As we're all witnessing now and a majority of us either don't really give a rat's ass or are too damned impotent to do anything about is the unfolding plan first conceived over a decade ago by a small, elite group of psychopaths. Many of these malignancies have become household words. Names like Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Zalmay Khalilzad, the now-indicted Lewis Libby. And their plan, which also has become a household word, is known as:

The Project for a New American Century. (PNAC)

n., a cancer, the roots of which first appeared in the body politic during the Nixon years. Thought successfully removed by surgery in the mid-70's, it reappeared in varying degrees in the 1980's and early 1990's when it was once again arrested with radiation and chemotherapies.

However, during a brief period of dormancy in the 90's, it evolved into its latest malignant manifestation when it suddenly reappeared in a new, most virulent form called the Cheney-Bush-Rumsfeld variant. With the nation suffering and weakening under this latest full-blown strain, eradication now appears impossible. The disease has metastasized!

Other parts of the body are being ravaged and some have already been destroyed. These include all branches of government, the media, intelligence community, military, industry, many Christian churches whose sanctimonious values are rampantly devouring formerly healthy tissue. The disease, once thought of as arrested and in submission has returned and is totally out of control.

It is now eating holes in the heart of America--authority's respect for the law. So virulent is this latest malignant manifestation, the patient's constitution has been severly damaged and s/he appears terminal. While speculation as to life expectancy is eschewed, the prognosis by many observers is extremely grim.

Okay, with that background, the prosecution would like to call as its next witness, Reuel Marc Gerecht. Now if that name sounds slightly foreign, like some higher-up in the former Hitler regime who successfully escaped post WWII Nazi Germany, sought and gained asylum in Argentina, relax. It's not. Gerecht, in fact, previously worked for the CIA and is a member of The Project for the New American Century.

And it is Gerecht who is masterminding the newest PNAC strategy for America's war torn Iraq. It's called the "pacification" of Baghdad. That's got a nice ring to it, right? But before I tell you just what the pacification of Baghdad is, what Gerecht's psychopathic lunatic plan is, let me just validate his thoughts. This wonderfully conceived idea of his for Iraq's capital city was expounded upon last week in the most mainstream of American newspapers no less, The Wall Street Journal!

I highly recommend a perusal of "Dead Cities" by Chris Floyd as it appeared in the Moscow Times. PNAC's latest war crime we, as Americans, may become accomplices to via our silence and/or impotence to do anything about involves these sick vermin acting on the world stage in the name of all. It's nothing less than the Fallujahfication of Baghdad!

As you may recall, in 2004, US forces lay seige to Fallujah. Food, water and electricity were cut off while we bombed that city back to the Stone Age for 8 fucking weeks. Then and only then, we sent in our sons and daughters to mop up those who remained with an all out assault, to include napalm and white phosphorus chemical weapons. Thousands died and 200,000 were left homeless (if roofless, wall-less houses count). We did this. All of us.

I think a brief interlude here is appropriate. Let me suggest a couple moments of a song we all know the words to. (Feel free to join in if so inclined. I know how busy we all are, how preoccupied with other things, so I've chosen to just skip down to the forth stanza to expedite things; so we can all get back to doing 'real life' things, like dying Easter eggs maybe.)

O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!

Ah, that was a nice recess. Now let's just finish up with our witness, Reuel Marc Gerecht, and his PNAC vision for the new Iraq. Gerecht suggests we Fallujahsize Baghdad! Or, in Gerecht's words, "pacify Baghdad". That sounds better but pacifying means nothing less than "a brutal firestorm by U.S. forces, ravaging both Sunni insurgents and Shiite militias in a 'horrific' operation that will inevitably lead to 'skyrocketing body counts,' as warhawk Reuel Marc Gerecht cheerfully wrote last week in the ever-bloodthirsty editorial pages of The Wall Street Journal."

Not that anybody really gives a shit, or can do anything about these out-of-control psychopathic bastards who represent us on the world stage, but more and more it looks like our "Operation Iraqi Freedom" is just another crazed crackpot scheme of despots wrapped in flags. History's recorded tons of 'em.

One nice thing that has come from all of this, however, is we needn't read about Hitler's rise to power and wonder how the fuck those wonderful folks, the Germans, ever allowed that to happen. We now know how. Rather than just read about it and wonder, we're living it. We are the new Germans!

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
Extended globally!

Great points, loved hearing (and singing) more of America the Beautiful, don't stop even to dye easter eggs!

"We are the new Germans" ... god I hope not, but it's getting harder to tell if we are, when the truth is just another side of the fair and balanced story. What has happened to press coverage of things like PNAC that should be familiar to everyone by now? If I were a wagerer, I would bet my last deutchmark a poll would show 90% of americans have no idea who or what it is (100% of fox-news watchers).

Since Maineiac is basking in the sunshine this week, I guess it's up to me to quote Hunter S. Thompson:

"The TV News business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free and good men die like dogs."

PNAC = Perpetraitorous Neoconization of American Crap [D.K.]

Well, as you can see, I did. (Stop to dye easter eggs that is.)

Listen, I think you were insinuating something bad about FOX News? As one who recently noted their creeping addition to a local radio station's top of the hour news in replacement of ABC News, you may be slandering up the wrong tree. Oh, sure, until now I had doubts too, but as they assure us during those news spots, FOX is "fair and balanced."

(Of course, any idiot listening to that would have to be an idiot. If a news service has to tell you their fair and balanced, you can bet your sweet bippy (thank you Soupy Sales) they're not.

Where the other purveyors of news outsmarts FOX is, they don't make such claims, even though they're not fair nor balanced either.

Thanks for the HST quote.

And beautiful easter eggs they are, too! Even though I haven't eaten eggs in decades, I still appreciate their perfection & promise of renewal this time of year. Chocolate bunnies, on the other hand, must signify redemption through endorphin-brain-rush. And let's not forget the traditional final Mogen-David wine sweet flourish.

And hummm, I thought the bippy-thing was Martin of Rowan & Martin. Are you saying they stole it from Soupy? D.K.

Dada said...

Oh geez. Sometimes, D.K., you shake my very reality to its foundations. Things I've assumed as truth for decades are suddenly now being seriously challenged (by ME!) because someone questioned the graffiti scrawled on the walls of my reality tunnel.

Certainly "bippy" was heard on Laugh-In. Now I must research this. If all else fails, I shall break out my two *Best of Soupy Sales* shows tape and hope and pray that word may have parted his lips in several years predation of Martin and Rowen.

At your leisure, dada (heh, heh). My memory doesn't go back to Soupy's actual routines, so he COULD have said it first. Years after his popularity waned, I SAW him on an airplane, flying coach, couldn't miss that sad wreck of a face! You know these comedians are always stealing each other's material (Milton Berle was famous for that, well for that along with certain mythical proportions). However, the first time I ever heard "bippy" was from Dick Martin's lips. D.K.

Dada, that was a beautiful and eloquent piece of rant.

One thing that I noticed; the Germans did start out by terrorizing other nations, and then they moved up to torturing and slaughtering their own people. It's okay to kill a bunch of yellow people with slanty eyes, but we would never do that to our people. That would be EVIL. Why do you think the United States of America is abbreviated as us? We have been told to seperate the world into two categories; Americans, and everyone else.q

DK: Well, my SS video tape contains two shows. One from his original show, in BxW circa 1962-63, the other is from the "New SS Show"...in the 70's.

The original contains a skit with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Trini Lopez in the Chez Bippy Restaurant.

But the actual word "bippy" was never mentioned in either. Of course, the original which aired 5 days/wk. may have had ample opport. to develop bippy, but the evidence is nothing concrete.

I may have to check with an old college chum. SS was a big deal among a small crowd on the college campus.

Nina:

There's this little thing called the "Constitutional Restoration Act" put forth in the House. So far, it has the support of 45 representatives.

And yesterday I checked out "The Messiah of Morris Avenue" from the library about America becoming a Theocracy.

These two may dovetail nicely. The book, of course, is fiction, but the CRA could become a nonfiction reality at which time, accordingly to Professor Mark Crispin Miller our taliban christians will be able to "take out" astrologers, gays, folks who commit heresy or, as they're called in the book, those who commit blasphemy, sodomy, and witchcraft. (This latter one refers to any "paganism", i.e., any who worship flora and fauna--aka environmentalists).

Is it far fetched? Probably not. Look how far we've come in just 5 short years!

That makes me so terribly sad. Not the Soupy Sales dillema, grim as that is.

`Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, the Supreme Court shall not have jurisdiction to review, by appeal, writ of certiorari, or otherwise, any matter to the extent that relief is sought against an entity of Federal, State, or local government, or against an officer or agent of Federal, State, or local government (whether or not acting in official or personal capacity), concerning that entity's, officer's, or agent's acknowledgment of God as the sovereign source of law, liberty, or government.'.

This is the Constitutional Restoration Act of 2005. I have looked at Wikipedia and other sources to try and figure out what this means. Could you translate? It's sort of like, I understand the first half, and I understand the second half, but I don't understand them together.

Nina: First of all--great job! Doing a little follow-up research on the CRA. It obviously demonstrates you should be "exchanged" under some program (or better yet, banished) to Great Britain for asking such difficult questions.

But your curiosity is absolutely commendable. But how in the hell am I supposed to interpret your findings?

Okay, okay. I think it's hinting at the future that's in store for us all if we go down this road, i.e., the law as we've known it the past 200+ years will become subject to a small group of talibangelists.

If the Constitutional Restoration act of 2004 ever passes it would bar the Supreme Court from reviewing cases in which public servants acknowledge God as the source of law, AND it would make judges who rule on cases such as Judge Moore’s Ten Commandments debacle (remember him? the guy who saw nothing wrong with the 10 commandments in the local courthouse) vulnerable to impeachment!

But according to Prof. Mark Crispin Miller, it could be used to eliminate gays, blasphemers and ahm, anyone else that happens to rub the small group of radical Xtians the wrong way. (Note the key word here, "eliminate")

Commendable job, dada, for attempting to explain our truly inexplicable bizarro world!

MC Miller's analysis in Fooled Again should raise the hair on any freedom-lovers neck: "The apocalyptic Constitutional Restoration Act would make God, that is the Bible, the sovereign basis of American law -- a stroke that would enable federal judges to pass sentence as prescribed in, say Leviticus, without risk of reversal by some higher court."

Miller goes on "When the House passed legislation to PREVENT the Supreme Court from ruling on the question as to whether 'under God' should be deleted from the Pledge of Allegiance, the purpose of that legislation was to pave the way for passage of the Constitution Restoration Act (HR 3799, S 2082), which would establish God, not the constitution, as the sovereign basis of all law in the U.S."

As bad as this is, worse is dada's foreseeing (here I bow to the superior man) that this act will lead to impeachment & removal of any judge who even hears an appeal on a case involving following God's (as opposed to man's) law. Also, let's not forget the "public servants" this law most seems designed to protect are all govt emp'ees, elected politicians, appointed bureaucrats, AND military forces!!! See, they're paving the way for their complete exoneration when the eventual shit hits the fan if we, the people, ever try to haul them into court to account for their heinous misdeeds! All they need claim is they were following God's law (as whispered in GWB's ears) -- D.K.

Oh DK. Thanks for bailing me out on this one. Nina asks some really tough questions and I knew if I could hint for you to jump in here, she'd REALLY get a better understanding of this CRA. Thank you so much. I'm beginning to wish I had reading skills, you sound so much like a walking World Book Encyclopedia (only more current)!

Anyway, if you're "listening" out there Nina, I hope you appreciate DK's explanacion here. I know I did.

dear dada, you are waaay too kind. I read & quote (pgs 93 & 275) of Mark Crispin Miller's "Fooled Again". Any poor insight was the result of your hard analysis. I only hope some of your dire predictions can be avoided, that somehow by adding to the din of disgruntled murmurs out there, that a hurricane-force can be created to blast these evil criminals back under the rocks from whence they crawled. [My version of "they who've sown the wind will reap the whirlwind."] D.K.

It seems to me that by trying to eliminate the overlap of church and state, they are completely replacing state with church!

Why can't we all just get along?

Thx guys for your explanations. I was a bit confused with all of the legal jargin obscuring any true meaning the CRA held.

Yeah, if any of the three of us ever talked to Mr. Bush, he'd probably die of a brain hemhorage before they could "banish" us anywhere.
