As lifeforms outside of our little planet Earth know, fear is the bases upon which societies in this corner of the galaxy are built. The present U.S. administration realizes this too. Perhaps President Bush is in touch with the aliens. I don't know, maybe Bush and Cheney ARE the aliens, so often do their reality perceptions seem not of this world.
But speculations aside, once one realizes everyone and everything is to be feared, especially differences exhibited by other peoples in cultures outside our own, it is simply a matter of exploiting that fear by those who lead to we who follow. Fear mongering, if done well, makes us want to kill any perceived outside threats. Wow! Now that's an admirable talent, isn't it?!
