Anyways! I was hoping you had given some clue to clueless about your new image. Fran & I want to know about the beard, Che or Fidel or Taliban? We have beard envy!
Raed: I'm really sorry you couldn't watch the full (yet brief) video. I actually laughed out loud once or twice in their analogy of Shawn Johnson as racehorse - she was "only 17, we hadn't a chance yet to breed her."
Yet, in another vein, I couldn't help think of the tragedy of a five year old "beauty queen", JonBenét Ramsey.
Re my "new look" -- just thought I'd try some "change" which seems to be in a breach birth position in DC. The *hirsuiteier* one being from the mid-80's when I was doing publicity for Ft. Bliss (example in today's blog, "Marking time")
While in a more or less continuous state of *pissation*, I am encouraged by the growing disenchantment of people with democrats and their party. While it may be small (on Facebook - Fran knows her - Leah Bloger, activist and advocate, went down and deregistered herself from her democratic party affiliation as a result of the latest war funding bill and there is a "I am no longer a democrat" FB group). I'm hoping this disaffection multiples, birthing a new party that will help destroy the old party, hence, my beret.
Any resemblance to Taliban was totally unintended (and not even thought of until -- thanks a helluva lot! -- your comment). 8~0
