Sunrise in the 'hood

Monday, February 23, 2009:  This morning's sunrise in the 'hood as it was unexpected-
ly stabbed multiple times by telephone poles and Italian cypresses lying in ambush.

eProf - enigma: Dada's Dally's "office hqs." has a good sized eastward facing window such that when it looks like it's gonna be a beautiful sunrise, we're all ready. Glad you enjoyed.

Yes, enigma, those are all my paintings (er, I should say impressions of "their" paintings) with the exception of the top left Delacroix detail from his "Massacre."

I've been wanting to "push down the page" the archives list ever since moving here. I finally settled on a few of these to do that trick and add a little color. Thanks for asking, glad you enjoyed.

BTW, I particularly like the detail of Delacroix's woman from the Massacre at Chios. I chose that because she has just experienced a true massacre by Turkish soldiers of civilians on the island Chios, but she could just as well be from our own era witnessing the massacre of not just her own, but the economies of nations all over the globe. Yet she appears strong of will. Hey, kinda like enigma, huh?
