A little more to the right, please!

So in deciding where to park it, Dada couldn't decide whether to go to the left or go to the right. After much consternation, he decided to park it square in the middle.

That's when he realized he would have made a great democratic candidate for president of the United States!

(Note: In the photo, to all who view it, Dada--while squarely in the middle--is leaning to the Right!)

One item of note: While appearing to emulate a Madison Ave. model in the accompanying photo, I am actually "stooping" to cover my 1995 Mazda's first dent received a little over a week ago when another driver backed in to me while I was driving down a parking aisle at the grocery store. (The Mazda goes into the shop Monday and I'm wondering if the damages had exceeded $800, if the insurance company might not have just "totaled it"--a car with only 47,000 miles on it!

Madison Ave discovered that sex sells, but you don't cut the mustard old cobber!

Now the other issue, I would have though avoiding electoral polarization wasn't a bad move.
And let's face it, the left still don't have the numbers to call the whole agenda.
I don't see it has much to do with the reality of a reform minded government, just the reality of getting elected.

Unless you reversed this photo, you are leaning LEFT, Dada! So, you are still a fully intact leftie commie (for driving an unamerican mazda)!

Nice photo. I looked for tire marks on the drive way to see how many times you had to move forward or backward to park the car sideways. I know, you're superman and just picked it up and put it down wherever you liked -- sideways. LOL!!

cart: I totally agree with you re the "packages" we're being offered in the upcoming election. I really like the two party system -- might you know where we can get one? (I almost said, "do you know where we can 'buy' one?" but, Hey!, we've already got the best one money can buy! Right?)

As to your assessment, "you don't cut the mustard old cobber!"...Mrs. Dada strongly takes issue with you! (I guess it's her opinion that really matters in this case, huh? ~grin))

d.k. - My point exactly. Yes, I was leaning to the left in the photo. Astute observation, but as I said "to all who view it, Dada....is leaning to the Right" (emphasis on the first half of that sentence.) But I was talking from a mirrored universe, one where right is left, left is right, but always where the middle is the same, inescapable middle -- particularly for the sentate's "most liberal senator" as he is labeled by our extreme right, which, I suppose, would be the radical left in a mirrored Universe? (Oh, hell, I'm so confused now.)

Yet, in either universe, the MX-6 has been a superb little car!

eprof: You're so very, very funny (and very, very, "right on!") You see, I took this photo over in my neighbor's driveway. A neighbor who entrusted his property to me in his absence. A driveway that has never met a drop of oil from any vehicle ever driven over it.

So, half way through the positioning process X-wise to the garage, I got out of the car and examined the cement for those black tire marks that would indicate to him someone had made a U-turn in front of his garage. (Whew! There were none lest I be scrubbing his driveway from now til next Wednesday eve when they return.)

You were also very alert to the very thing most concerning me during my blog "photo-op" but, one of the more entertaining aspects of the 'shoot' was the reaction of several neighbors who drove by while we were doing it. So fun was it to see them look at the Mazda obviously oriented 90 degrees in the wrong direction, I decided to leave it that way over night. I figured it's good folks should see things differently, even if they're as they shouldn't be. (I'm doing that quite often these days.)

I am so sorry about the dent...and the car is sooooo beautiful....you should model cars ;-)

now about the left right thing...you are talking to someone that is halfblind and dyslexic....and I also noted that you are not wearing your MAde In China Flag Lapel pin - so I know that means you are a radical extremist right?

( I am joking ......)

I'll join B.Explorer in wishing you an H.B'day, Dada! I'd light up the candles, but don't want to increase global warming! Can your editor let us know how many dog years you are? (just kidding, hope it's a good one) ...

ps, I do know how great your commie Mazda is ... remember my previous car was a mazda & I loved it (although it was somewhat of a surprise to learn it was "born in Hiroshima"). My sister ended up with it ... so sad to see it treated to ciggie burns in the upholstery & door dents & bumper dings, not to mention the permanently open moonroof which let in too much sun thus further deteriorating the interior. still, it was the 2nd funnest car I ever owned (1st is still the austin healey).

OK, I want to apologize to everyone who tendered those nice birthday greetings that I am only now getting around to acknowledging.

It's a short story, but I managed to knock all three of our networked computers (PLUS the Vonage internet phone offline), thus obsessing me with the task of getting a.) the phone back first and b.)reestablishing internet connectivity. I have ALMOST succeeded with the exception of the iMac which drifts aimlessly out of touch still.

Before I attempt its revival at the risk of returning to the damnation of lost souls and connections, I wanted to just say thanks to Samhaldsfestarin for dropping by Dada's and enigma, D.K., B.E., mariamariacuchita (for visiting also! I look forward to reciprocating) for the birthday greetings and wishes.

Utah may have commented before knowing it was my birthday, or maybe "A little snark from Dada" was it but, regardless, thanks, Utah!

And now, I shall go work on a blog to explain my recent absence. Thanks all!
