Gee, of my three posts here yesterday, I thought this was the least absurd. Maybe that's why it's drawn no comments--it's too serious to be taken flippantly.
No, I just didn't know what to say, the situation seeming so unsolvable to me. Maybe putting off talking until 2015 will allow the situation to resolve itself? oops, now that sounds ominous!
Well, maybe not, if we are to judge from the historical map of Israel's evolution over the past 60 years.
Seems by 2015, there'll be no need to negotiate with anyone about anything because there'll be nobody to negotiate about nothing. (Whoops, s'cuse the 2X negatives...[grin])
Glad you posted this graphic, Dada. And I love your context that U.S. and Israel agree on the 2 state solution. I remember the T shirts for sale in Jerusalem: "Israel--the 51st State."
again, your posters/commenter's are amazing...this graphic though - well they say pictures speak a thousand words and this one speaks over a million..sigh
az...yes, and he who emigrates with the least money must first successfully navigate the mine fields and IED's of Iraq or Afghanistan with the promise of citizenship if he successfully does so in the American Foreign Legion. (30,000 are trying it.)
border explorer: Great to "see" you! So how long has it taken me to post something--anything!-- after the peace bus passed thru town? Six months (or more)?
Truthfully? I sometimes wonder if the symbiotic relationship the US and Israel enjoy does not also make us, the US, a state of Israel too? (Loved the t-shirt!)
