Heeee's Back!

Bush The Protector, overseeing the country he loves. (Click to enlarge.)

Bush has returned early from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Sydney,
Australia in order to assess General Patraeus' Iraq surge report. (Remember, when spelling the General's last name, you can't do it correctly without having the "u-s" there at the end.)

Without the slightest idea what the report will contain, Bush felt it important he have sufficient time to study how to best proceed in Iraq, whether it be to stay forever or withdraw immediately.

Whatever he decides the nation's future path in the war on terror will be, be assured it will be the one that will best keep us safe and "America, The Beautiful."

thanks for the spelling tip, dada. good to remember it's US instead of ASS. Although since Editor Sam let Petraeus become Patraeus, I'm beginning to think he has some ulterior motive in mind ... something about Patriotic U.S. Asses.

I also think "US in there at the end" is probably some graffiti on a certain minneapolis bathroom wall. Where the hell does Sam get these ideas? ~~ D.K.

You know--I have absolutely no idea! This sure isn't anything like I originally submitted for "print"!

maybe Editor Sam is attempting some advanced inter-species communication to help the dominant species out of its current mess. and he's so smart & so far ahead of the nsabastards that he's working subtly in clues&codes. chasing his own tail is just a distasteful but necessary subterfuge for the crafty communicator. I notice he cleverly left your excellent evil graphic intact, conveying knowledge of our future if we don't grasp his covert messages. either that, or he's angling for a bigger food bowl. ~~ D.K.

Did anyone catch the OPUS cartoon today? He had Bush singing the West Side Story tune "Maria", but substituted the word "Petraeus". Who here does not thinkBush delivered Petraeus' speech to him in his surprise visit to Iraq? this is what you will say & how you will say it. My dark sarcastic side said the recent photo op, w Mr. P doing a *thumbs up* pose, standing next to George. The only thing that would have completed the photo would be to have caskets in the background. I know, the thought makes me cringe too, but it would have been more realistic. I will catch the Petraeus dog & pony show this week, but will be thinking this is like "Oz", We can't end the surge now-- No way! No how!
Pay no attention to those death toll numbers, and the National Debt. We are the great & powerful U.S.! We will hear the traditional buzzwords- terrorists, 9-11, making progress, just need more time. I doubt we will hear anything new... maybe something to the effect of beginning troop withdrawl just before the elections? Puhleeese!

Thanks for the offer enigma...

Unfamiliar with this cartoon, I went in search and found it over on Salon. Great! And I have no idea what all this supposed "suspense" is about of our progress in Iraq under Bush's surge from a general who had to agree to tow the Bush line before he was appointed. Dissent is not allowed...yet MSM encourages us to be holding-our-breaths suspenseful.

Oh, I can't wait to see what Bush has learned from Pat's report and how this will alter his course in Iraq. (Yeh, right.)

All the hype is that we will hear from "the horses mouth" the Iraq general's report, rather than from "the horses ass" Bush. Of course the Commander & thiefs handlers have told him what to say--
some have already dubbed him General Betray-us.
Suprise visit to Iraq.... ugh!
