Bush challenges us to do something about him!

From Tuesday's joint press conference with Prime Minister Harper of Canada, and President Calderón of Mexico at the Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello in Montebello, Canada, president Bush once more taunted Americans to do something about it.

President Bush: "There's a process taking place and the fundamental question is will the government respond to the demands of the people. And if the government doesn't respond to the demands of the people, they will replace the government."*
*********
*president Bush speaking about the Iraqi government which, unlike the American government, is supposed to be responsive to its citizens or face dissolution. NOTE: This does NOT apply to Americans. Repeat--this does NOT apply to complacent, apathetic Americans nor their do-nothing, part-of-the-problem representatives in Congress.

No, let's just sit tight, watch the presidential debates while another one thousand, seven hundred U.S. soldiers die for nothing until the next U.S. "War Lord" takes over the Iraqi mess (and Iranian war?) in January '09 and pretend that in all the land a choice between Hillary and Guiliani is the best this nation can offer us as we go out and vote for either with the delusion our votes really count for something different (if they are counted at all) and take comfort in knowing that while we may go bankrupt from a mortgage or illness we can't afford, at least we own a piece of a shattered Iraq where we've created the world's newest little city-state democracies run by thugs much like the corruption riddled thugs in D.C. charading themselves as protectors of the great American democracy, a democracy we never really quite achieved, did we?

he makes these kinds of stmnts so often, I do wonder if he really is challenging us. oh but then I remember he doesn't write his speeches, so these aren't his thoughts. hmmm, maybe some wonky speechwriter is challenging us? ~~ D.K.

Well, I think it's indicative of the hydroactive heaps of histrionic hypocrisy that oozes from the mouths of these sanctimonious sludge slinging sociopaths running and ruining the country.

But I give 'em this, there's no more shining examples than Big Dick or Little Bush to illustrate why Homo sapiens is a doomed dead-end genetic experiment, so hell bent are they on destroying everything that obstructs their path to total annihilation and the insanity that transcends everyone's else's belief systems and reality tunnels.

It's not that all of humanity is equally insane and irrational. No, it's just that we roll over for whackos and allow them to take us over the brink beyond all reason - to share in their madness of destruction with our own.

God bless the dogs and butterflies we take with us.

dada, you have left the "the nattering nabobs of negativism" in the dust. You're on a roll -- I love it! (I'm still trying to figure out what "hydroactive heaps" are)

I wonder if what seems like a genetic dead-end may in fact be the signal for a world-changing mutational response. We seem poised on a cusp, for sure. The last change gave us big brains, but left intact our primitive destructive instincts. Time and weaponry will tell whether full-blown wackaloons continue to guide us down the rabbit hole. ~~ D.K.

deke: Don't worry too much about those hydroactive heaps....I was just in an alliteration mood when I wrote that so made that hydroactive up. (It sounded nice at the time.)

But I must commend you for "wackaloons"...that was a first for me.

"Hydroactive": I thought maybe it was a melding of radioactive & hydrosomething or other. I was picturing large heaps of toxic water.

Geo Carlin gets credit for "wackaloon"! I heard him use it sometime in the 90's & I think again in his book "When Will Jesus Bring the Porkchops". ~~ D.K.

hydroactive heaps...it is when one excretes large amounts of watery diahrrea at random...

( and that is indeed medical alliteration...and I am sure what you meant...)

carry on...you are indeed on a roll...bravo..

They were there to talk about the NAU <- North American Union
President Bush is pursuing a globalist agenda to create a North American Union, effectively erasing our borders with both Mexico and Canada. This was the hidden agenda behind the Bush administration's true open borders policy.

Secretly, the Bush administration is pursuing a policy to expand NAFTA politically, setting the stage for a North American Union designed to encompass the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What the Bush administration truly wants is the free, unimpeded movement of people across open borders with Mexico and Canada.

President Bush intends to abrogate U.S. sovereignty to the North American Union, a new economic and political entity which the President is quietly forming, much as the European Union has formed.

The blueprint President Bush is following was laid out in a 2005 report entitled "Building a North American Community" published by the left-of-center Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). The CFR report connects the dots between the Bush administration's actual policy on illegal immigration and the drive to create the North American Union:

At their meeting in Waco, Texas, at the end of March 2005, U.S. President George W. Bush, Mexican President Vicente Fox, and Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin committed their governments to a path of cooperation and joint action. We welcome this important development and offer this report to add urgency and specific recommendations to strengthen their efforts.
