Wednesday - Late night blog.
It's been a screwy day. Earlier this morning, we got one of those automatic update messages from Mozilla Firefox asking us of the new, improved version, "Do you want to install now?" Knowing how these things sometimes go, I stalled. Later, I installed. Now I'm about to uninstall what we earlier installed.
The end result of the new, improved updated Firefox? We're unable to access the internet any longer. And while I don't know if there's any connection, our internet phone service does not permit us to dial out any longer. As a result, Mrs. Dada missed an important conference call this afternoon.
So, I'm tweaking, setting my clock back to an earlier time and uninstalling "improvements" hoping for a return to more primitive times. In the meantime, we have the Mac--thankfully.

Oy! That's the pits. Sammy seems to have the upper hand on technology- keeping it simple couch/pillow/nap~ livin' the dog's life....
Why is it those improved versions seem to cause so many problems, including disrupting Mrs D's schedule? Good use of the computer's way-back capability, though. When all else fails, eh?
Sam's reading tastes are quite advanced. Probably looking for a raise or promotion soon. ~~ D.K.
g.d. - Yes, despite the excellent examples Sam sets for me, I continue to defy him - more often than not, to my chagrin.
d.k. - One day while we were out, Sam took the message from the city library that a book I'd ordered was in. He didn't bother to write it down, preferring to lean on technology so as not to disturb his nap, but he told me the book was one recommended by someone named e.k., d.k.
