BTW....a huge welcome back, enigma. I think your absence was more significant than realized by all of us. That's because I detected a malaise that slowly crept over a number of sites I regularly visit after you left. PT's blogs dropped off for awhile (thankfully, he returned angrier than ever); Mel moved and never regrooved (promising to return, but it's like birthing a new galaxy, i.e., takes longer than nine months. Another I regularly visited got "snippy" to where I just quit going there...but almost as mysterious as your disappearance was the sudden blogger resignation of (oh hell, I forget her name at the moment) to pursue other interests (like gardening?--and who could blame her, none of us knows how much longer the Earth will be able to grow shit under Bush's reality denials).
So, it's great to see you resprout your wings in virtual world. I KNOW many, many people are reinvigorated by your return -- just witness the comments on your blog.
I feel like we're on a quest to confront the Wizard. With a great leader and inspiration in Enigma resurrected, let us now hope we can add ahm, the "retired" gardening blogger and Mel along the way.
