thanks for turning me on to Bright Eyes! when I first saw the name, I was thinking of Artie Garfunkel's song for watership down (about the rabbits). anyone's final moments would be much enhanced with their favorite music. now you got me thinking who I'd want to sing me out, though I do hope to leave my social security card far behind. ~~ D.K.
az: Glad you liked it. I did too. But sadly, the video doesn't feature the band....the lead(er) singer I found very engrossing.
However there was another Youtube of bright eyes featured, but that night the lead(er) was most probably on something, but still very engrossing, esp. his lyrics. (BTW, I caught them on Austin City Limits last night on PBS, hence, today's vid.)
Raed: Strangely, there is a link between Bright Eyes the band and Watership Down. (A Bright Eyes Youtube videio.) I vaguely remember Watership Down from a "kitty lit" class I took to get my Educ. certification. (Isn't it ironic, "Watership Down" and this video about crashing into the ocean?
Anyway, to see the band and their charismatic leader, look for "Lets Not Shit Ourselves (LIVE)" on Youtube.
