Happy Birthday, Cesar!

This is an image of a couple of the estimated 6,000 demonstrators in El Paso yesterday commemorating Cesar Chavez's birthday, the proposed immigration reform legislation before congress, and, oh, just the state of the nation in general at present.

Interesting to note, that in a crowd with no pro-bush banners or posters, the crowd made do with what they had, i.e., anti-bush sentiments. But rest assured, stomping on an anti-bush poster is not to be interpreted as a pro-Bush statement.

good use of double negatives, dada. Let me add my weak voice to their strong feet ... a bush underfoot is worth two condi's in the hand. D.K.

D.K. Gee, that was a double negative? I'm getting so good I don't even know it, huh? Thanks for pointing that out.

God, I'm sooo impressed with myself.

(e4e: I hope so too, but that poster looks clean enough to eat off, doesn't it?)
