WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush said Saturday he has no intention of stopping his personal authorizations of a post-Sept. 11 secret eavesdropping program in the U.S., lashing out at those involved in revealing it while defending it as crucial to preventing future attacks.
Here's what Bush said:
"This authorization is a vital tool in our war against the terrorists. It is critical to saving American lives. The American people expect me to do everything in my power, under our laws and Constitution, to protect them and their civil liberties and that is exactly what I will continue to do as long as I am president of the United States."
Here's what Bush meant?
"This authorization is a vital tool in my war against Americans. It is critical to saving me and my administration. The American people expect I will do everything in my power, outside the law and our Constitution, to protect me against their civil liberties to protest, demonstrate against or impeach me. That is exactly what I will continue to do as long as I am head kahuna of the United States."

He says the terrorists hate us for our freedom, so he's taking away our freedom. Now they won't hate us any more.
He's a surrender monkey - caving in to the wants of the terrorists.
