Meanwhile, in the screwy Universe....

"The president has made it very clear that we do not torture, he would never condone torture or authorize the use of torture," White House press secretary Scott McClellan said.

"When it comes to human rights, there is no greater leader than the United States of America, and we show that by holding people accountable when they break the law or violate human rights, and we show that by supporting the advance of freedom and democracy and supporting those in countries that are having their human rights denied or violated, like North Korea," McClellan said.

"We show that by liberating people in Afghanistan and Iraq — some 50 million people. No one has done more when it comes to human rights than the United States of America. I think the American people understand."

Dada thinks Scott McClellan and the Bush administration he fronts for are spoofing us. Talking about his claim of "holding people accountable when they break the law" (as in the violation of treaties of which the U.S. is signatory) "or violate human rights" (as we and our rendition nations partners do in the darkest, most secret torture dungeons around the world).

They have to be spoofing us, because in the parallel Universe in which I live, by saying that seriously, McClellan would be calling for the accountability of Bush and his fellow war criminals which, of course, is NOT what he's saying. Or is it?

Hello, dada. I'm Inugasa Ginjiro.

I agree with your claim "Scott McClellan and the Bush administration he fronts for are spoofing us."

Simillaly, I feel we are also spoofed by major presses and Jpn goverment. In fact, they don't seem to be unwilling to report the Afghanistan and Iraq since the matter "abduction of three Jpn". So I can hardly get latest infomations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
